Dr. Hartgrove was raised here in Southeast Tennessee, where much of his extended family still resides. In 2003, he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. In 2012, he received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from Lincoln Memorial University – DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee as part of the institution’s inaugural class. Following graduation from 2012 to 2015, he completed his Internal Medicine residency through the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in conjunction with Erlanger Medical Center.
He is board-certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine. He lives in
Chickamauga, GA with his wonderful wife, Taylor, and their three rambunctious sons. He is passionate about helping patients see how their health and well-being reflect the intelligent and loving design by the hand of God. He works with them to formulate plans to help them live the healthiest life they can while accomplishing their personal goals.
He embraces the benefits of medical advancements while also honoring medicinal treatments that have been used effectively for long stretches of human history, always seeking to find the most appropriate course of action for each individual patient. He endeavors to learn how principles derived from nature can be used to help our population.
